FilmOne Entertainment, a Nigerian film distribution and production house, is gearing up to release its very first feature film, Adire, in cinemas all over the country. This exciting movie, directed by Adeoluwa Owu, is set to hit the big screen on November 3, 2023.
Adire is being hailed as a “community-driven film” that revolves around the life of Adire, portrayed by the talented Kehinde Bankole. Adire is a former sex worker who finds herself on the run. In an attempt to start afresh, she moves to a small town and embarks on a journey to establish her own fashion business. However, her newfound happiness is put in jeopardy when her former pimp resurfaces, threatening to unravel everything she has worked so hard for.
Penned by the brilliant Jack’enneth Opukeme, Adire delves into the story of a young female fashion entrepreneur, played by Kehinde Bankole, who must confront the consequences of her dark past as a sex worker while striving to build a successful new venture.
Adeoluwa Owu, also known as Captain Degzy, takes the helm as the director of this captivating film.
