The Headies Award Is Coming Back Home!

The Headies Awards, after successfully hosting the 2022 and 2023 editions in the United States is now ready to return to its roots in Nigeria for its upcoming edition. This decision was made in response to the overwhelming desire to bring the award show back to its home country.

Established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria, the Headies Awards aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. Each year, the ceremony showcases breathtaking performances by both established and promising artists.

The 16th edition of the Headies Awards took place at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, U.S. It featured an impressive lineup of Nigeria’s top artists and prominent personalities from the music and entertainment industry.

In an exciting announcement on their official Instagram page, the Headies expressed their pride in the global success of Afrobeats music.
