Amanda a determined young woman pays a visit to her younger brother, Steve, who is currently serving a life sentence in prison for a murder he claims he didn’t commit. As she listens to his side of the story, Amanda begins to suspect that there’s more to this case than meets the eye. She discovers that the same organization responsible for her father’s death is behind her brother’s wrongful conviction.
StarCity Properties Ltd, an apparently innocent estate development firm, is actually a front for illegal activities such as drug and human trafficking. When Amanda’s father uncovered their true nature, he threatened to expose them to the police. In response, StarCity Properties Ltd had two options: either abandon their criminal operations or eliminate Mr. Bankole. Unfortunately, they chose the latter.
Now, the company is under the control of the ruthless Madam Seggy, portrayed by the talented Sola Sobowale. Interestingly, Madam Seggy’s daughter, Ojumu Christiana-ChristO BBN, is none other than the renowned Police Inspector, Betty. This connection adds an intriguing twist to the story.
The plot thickens when Amanda learns about potentially incriminating documents hidden by her late father, Mr. Bankole. StarCity Properties Ltd desperately wants to get their hands on these recordings, which is why they framed Steve and are now trying to strike a deal with him in exchange for his freedom.
The stakes are high, and Amanda finds herself caught in a dangerous web of deceit and corruption. Will she be able to uncover the truth and bring justice to her family? Only time will tell.
